I Don’t Want to Be a Princess by Daniel Klawitter

I don’t want to be a princess
And have to wear a dress.
I’d rather be a writer,
For that’s what I do best.
I like to think up stories
Where girls don’t need a prince—
Because we’re just as brave as them
And have more common sense.
