Rock Stars by Daniel Klawitter

Mary had a little lamb
Whose fleece was black as coal.
Together they both formed a band
And played loud rock and roll!

Mary was the singer.
The lamb he played guitar.
With a rabbit for a drummer
They soon became big stars.

With a rooster on the bass
The quartet was complete.
They played their songs all night long
With a funky, farm-fresh beat!

Their concerts were amazing!
They sold out all their shows.
From the U.S.A. to Europe—
And even in Tokyo.

They became a world sensation
Whom everyone admired.
And now they live in Florida,
Happily retired.
