The Bing-Bong-Boo by Daniel Klawitter

I must tell you of the Bing-Bong-Boo
In the basement of my school!
A mystic, magic creature
Who is kind and never cruel.

With the body of an octopus
And a face like a raccoon,
I don’t know how he got here
But he isn’t leaving soon.

He loves reciting poetry
To anyone who will listen.
His favorite poet in the world
Is Emily E. Dickinson.

Why is he called the Bing-Bong-Boo?
No one really knows for sure.
I just know he loves poetry
And he’s from Kuala Lumpur.
